JA Promotes Two Associates

Johnston Architects has promoted Harmony Cooper and Liz Wasson Coleman to Associate.

Harmony Cooper, AIA joined JA in 2016 as a project designer with experience in sustainable retail, commercial, multi-family and custom residential projects. Now a licensed architect, Cooper applies his 11 years of experience to a mix of project types. His current JA projects include Winston Townhomes in Ravenna, the new Winthrop Public Library, a private residence in Fort Collins, Colorado and several single-family homes in the Methow Valley, including a high-performing sustainable residence being built with Design for Disassembly (DfD) principles. Liz Wasson Coleman joined JA in 2019 as Marketing Director and has worked in the Pacific Northwest A/E/C industry for over 16 years. Coleman leads marketing strategy and implementation for JA, applying her experience in operations, marketing, and business development roles to strengthen the firm’s public presence. After joining JA she led the rollout of updated corporate branding and restructured the firm’s marketing processes, including proposals, award pursuits, social media and public relations. Coleman has volunteered with SMPS Seattle since 2018 and serves on the chapter’s Board of Directors as President-Elect. You can read more about Liz here.
