/The Twisp Cabin was recently profiled in Architect Magazine! The 1,200 SF cabin designs are available for purchase through the JA website, along with several other predesigned residences ranging from 450 SF to 1500 SF.

In communities large and small, people looking for homes are faced with a lack of rental housing and affordable housing. The Twisp Cabin is part of a series of customizable home designs created by Johnston Architects to offer more affordable housing solutions, including the increasingly popular accessory dwelling units / detached accessory dwelling units. The adaptability of the Twisp Cabin was reinforced with new builds of the design for a family on Washington’s Orcas Island, in Alaska, and most recently, using Cross Laminated Timber (CLT).
