Rob Kuentzel
Rob grew up in the shadow of Princeton’s iconic collegiate gothic buildings, inspiring his obsession with connecting past and present through architecture. If you ask Rob when he knew he wanted to be an architect, he’ll tell you he can’t remember a time when he didn’t. To realize this dream, Rob earned his BS and Masters in Architecture from the University of Maryland’s School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation. He went on to teach and mentor design students at his alma mater while still living on the East Coast. Drawn to Seattle by the design scene and Modernist influences, Rob now mentors architecture students at the University of Washington and fills his free time snowboarding, skateboarding, sketching, and sewing unique fashion creations. He enjoys watching indie films with his fiancé and strategically placing snacks and blankets to lure their affectionate, asthmatic cat, Minnie into sitting with them.
