Melissa Booth
It was a high school photography class that led Melissa to architecture: she found herself drawn to capturing built spaces in abstract ways and discovering unexpected spatial connections in her photos. She went on to study architecture at the University of Florida and earn her Masters in Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Her work has appeared in numerous international exhibitions, including Italy, France, and the Philippines. Growing up on the Gulf Coast of Florida, Melissa quickly learned the importance of designing buildings uniquely tied to their environment and place. She merges this understanding with a commitment to sustainability and making positive impacts on communities and individuals to create welcoming public buildings. When she’s not working, Melissa enjoys traveling to National Parks, bike riding, and photography. She also excels at pub trivia and being very punny.
