Maya

Maya (who sometimes goes by Potato) is a rare Canadian Devil Hound, a breed whose bulging eyes evolved to see well in the dark, and whose fierce under bite serves to capture bats while prowling the caves of the Canadian wilderness. Since being tamed and settling down in Seattle with her family in 2014, Maya enjoys sitting on the front porch in the sunshine, taking short walks around the block, and foraging for any crumbs and scraps that might fall to the floor. When she’s not at home serving as her canine sister’s napping pillow Maya plays musical dog beds in the JA office and sits at her human colleagues’ feet waiting for snuggles and compliments on her velvety-soft ears.
