Christina Chen

Christina grew up in Southern California and was drawn to Seattle for its relaxed West Coast vibes, arts and culture, and delicious food scene – and of course, for the opportunity to study at the University of Washington. A bit of a math wiz, Christina considered becoming a civil engineer, but she found herself drawn more to design and digital art, so she reconsidered and went on to earn her BA in Architectural Design in 2024. Christina worked in her family’s small business as a teenager, honing valuable bookkeeping and administrative expertise, which she’s able to apply at JA in her unique, hybrid role as Office Coordinator & Designer. Depending on the day, Christina supports design teams with RFIs, helps with renderings, follows up on Accounts Receivable, and backs up the JA Marketing team. Outside of work she enjoys crocheting, embroidery, watercolor painting, and photography. She even picks up the guitar now and then.
