Receptionist/Office Assistant

JA is looking for a highly organized, creative person to manage the front desk and support the studio. The Receptionist/Office Assistant duties will include: answering phones, welcoming clients and guests, mailing tasks, filing, sorting, organizing, archiving, executing contracts, overseeing office supply inventory/ordering, updating website and social media account, assisting the studio for interviews, presentations and proposals as needed, assist IT manager and manage office kitchen.

Successful candidates will have:
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Highly Organized
Self-motivated and self-starter
Basic computer network/IT experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience with customer service a plus

Project Designer/Architect
We are looking for a creative individual who demonstrates quality design talent and possesses good leadership, organization and 3D graphic skills. The Project Designer/Architect will lead in-office design teams, coordinate with sub-consultants, oversee quality of documentation, and construction administration. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of taking projects from schematic design through construction documents.

Successful candidates will have:
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture
Minimum of five full-time years work experience in the field of architecture
Experience with single family, multi-family and mixed use projects.
Proficiency with CADD, Adobe Creative Suite and 3D model building are required
Experience with Revit and Sketch-Up required, proficiency a plus
LEED accreditation and Experience with 3D Studio Max a plus

Interior Designer
We’re looking for an Interior Designer with unique skills which demonstrate an interest and passion for interior design. This is a great opportunity to work directly with Principals and Senior designers to gain valuable knowledge on a variety of projects from Single Family to Mixed Use and Commercial. Responsibilities include: Working with Senior Staff to establish the conceptual design direction as a response to the program requirements and client’s goals; Coordination with vendors, contractors and purchasing agents; Develop plans, elevations and architectural details that illustrate the design intent and highlight the use of materials; Develop furniture and space plans that meet the program requirements; Furniture selection and planning- coordinate directly with manufacturers & vendors to develop furniture specifications package.

Successful candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design/Architecture
Minimum of three full-time years work experience in the field of Design
Knowledge of building systems, codes and accessibility requirements for interior environments
Awareness of appropriate materials and building finish products suitable for healthy interior environments
Feel comfortable working with product reps and showrooms
Experience with Revit, Sketch-Up, Auto-CAD and Adobe Creative Suite required
Experience with procurement (purchasing, delivery/receiving and installation)

Join us on Friday, April 6 from 6-8pm to see the paintings of Maralyn Crosetto and Ann Hopkinson. Snacks, beverages, and friendly conversation provided.

Ann and Maralyn have been painting together almost since they met in 1969. The locales have included the canyons and desert of Utah and Arizona, the mountains of Colorado, the Cotswolds in England, the fjords of Norway the hilltowns of Tuscany and the islands of Haida Gwaii. This show is a tribute to a lifetime of friendship and shared art making.

Join us for the 4th annual Holiday Market in conjunction with the Fremont First Friday Art Walk. Each year, JA hand picks local artist and markers to sell items handmade in the Pacific Northwest. 10% of all sales go to Mary’s Place- a wonderful non-profit organization dedicated to homeless women and children. This year we are excited to partner with Stride Physio in hosting over 13 local vendors. Don’t miss this great event, December 1st from 6-9PM.
